Mr Freissle, a German businessman who immigrated to South Africa, originally owned the property. Andre and Beverley Britz purchased the property in 2003 and immediately saw the potential of the north facing views for developing unique luxurious Villas.

The Villas were planned to all be north facing in order for guests to enjoy the excellent views of the landscape. The Self Catering Villas are set in a tranquil background of the Klipriversberg Nature Reserve.

The luxurious Villas are surrounded by the southern Johannesburg metropolis, which displays an abundance of indigenous trees, plants, and birdlife.

Sunsets are a great treat for guests while relaxing on the patios of the Villas. Guests can walk to the various lookout points to enjoy the tranquillity of nature and the beautiful views, or just relax and read a book. Children are welcome to play on  the jungle gym and jumping castle during the day.

At Sunset Villas, we focus on accommodating families, business individuals, couples, and corporate & other groups. The complex consists of seven Villas in total. The pool facility is available at the main house.
